Shipping policy
How we send your order We dispatch orders twice a day, Monday to Friday. We use Go Sweet Spot, which selects the best courier for your location and parcel weight. Depending on where you live in New Zealand, your order may be delivered by NZ Post, NZ Couriers, or Post Haste.
Delivery times Delivery targets for urban and main centre addresses are by the end of the next business day or the day after dispatch. Rural addresses may take an extra day or two. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The Gujarati Kitchen
Tracking You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched. Use this to follow your parcel through to delivery.
Rural delivery If you live in a rural area, please make sure your address is correct and includes your rural delivery number where applicable. Rural deliveries may take longer than urban estimates.
We do not ship internationally at this time.
Delays We are not responsible for delays caused by courier companies or events outside our control, including weather events or courier network disruptions.
Lost or damaged parcels If your parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, contact us at shop@booksforkids.co.nz and we will work with the courier to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Return shipping If you are returning an item under our Returns and Refund Policy, return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item. Please contact us at shop@booksforkids.co.nz before sending anything back.
